GROUP PHOTO WORKSHOP - 2027
AUTUMN LIGHT IN THE ROCKIES. Set off to explore the Canadian Rockies during one of the best times of year for nature photography. In autumn, the larches and birches take on golden hues, the peaks are sometimes dusted with their first snow, and the lakes reflect the shifting colors of the season—a spectacular setting that offers endless opportunities for capturing striking images.
Throughout this workshop, you will discover iconic sites and locations perfect for photography, while learning how to make the most of natural light, colors, and compositions. The Rockies are also home to fascinating wildlife; you will have the opportunity to photograph the animals that inhabit these mountains—from elk and moose to bighorn sheep and other species encountered along the way. You will receive personalized guidance to refine your shooting techniques, better anticipate animal behavior, and develop your own photographic eye. From sweeping panoramas and the intricate details of autumn landscapes to encounters with wildlife, this workshop will allow you to explore various facets of photography within an exceptional natural setting.
Much more than a photography trip
As a photographer and geographer by training, I guide you through the Canadian Rockies with both an artistic and technical perspective. Having explored this region many times, I have developed a deep understanding of its landscapes and photographic potential, allowing me to craft an itinerary specifically designed for photographers. Throughout the workshop, you will receive personalized guidance to enhance your shots—covering everything from composition and mastering light to astrophotography and post-processing. I will share my knowledge and techniques to help you refine your photographic eye and get the very best out of your images. The workshop takes place in a small group, fostering meaningful interaction and ensuring that the support provided is tailored to each participant’s individual skill level and goals.
